UWG decided to Go West. We built the brand to recall, and expand, that trailblazing spirit of the West. Think adventurers, explorers, do-it-yourselfers, innovators. That spitfire spirit needed to come through loud and clear. 

There are countless ways to Go West. Radio spots help tell the stories of those who are forging their own paths.


Go West has gone big throughout metro Atlanta, from outdoor and digital ads to traditional print.

The Go West microsite is the online home for people who want to Go West. There’s plenty of information for prospective students – and inspiring profiles of students, faculty, and alumni who Go West every day.

Since the GO WEST brand launched, enrollment has grown by 2,000 students. Surveys indicate that brand and name recognition in the Atlanta area has skyrocketed. The University is attracting more high-ability students and is a first choice for more applicants. Campus visit day attendance is up 20 percent. Social media traffic is at an all-time high, and there has been a 35 percent increase in web traffic. To top it off the TV spots earned Bronze Telly Awards.
