Situation: A small liberal arts college with the energy and opportunities of a big university, Ohio Wesleyan University needed to ramp up its message to match the community’s voracious appetite for academics, athletics, the arts, and more.
Solution: The new brand platform Mindpower created speaks to Oh-Wooo’s hunger for life and learning. This comprehensive branding program included media ranging from print to digital ads and signage to emails. New recruitment materials showcased drool-worthy opportunities. The viewbook earned a Communicator Award of Excellence. And the annual giving mailer connected alumni and friends with the campus’ insatiable spirit to feed students’ hunger to do – and be – more.
Results: After launching the new brand, OWU experienced powerful momentum, including a 12 percent increase in enrollment. Campus overflowed with Oh-Wooo spirit. And the University's annual fund campaign exceeded goals, setting a new giving record.
