University of St. Thomas


    The University of St. Thomas is the largest private university in Minnesota, counting strong academics, enviable alumni pride, and powerhouse athletics. With each school and college doing its own marketing, the only thing lacking was cohesion. We united the community around their passion for the University’s mission, which boiled down to its essence: ALL FOR THE COMMON GOOD.

    To help St. Thomas show how its community works for the common good, we created a digital experience where the University can share videos and stories of students, faculty, and alumni.


    And we brought the new messaging and visuals to life on the University’s institutional website which earned a Bronze Higher Ed Award. 

    The redesigned University logo brings in historical elements while making it useable for all constituents across all media from print to social media.

    Print materials, including the alumni magazine, are also evolving to spread stories of the impact that the St. Thomas community is making on the world.

    For the brand launch, we developed a social media strategy to help the University engage its various audiences and take its message viral.

    What we did: Brand platform, web strategy, campaign microsite (design and content), publications, social media strategy, sub-branding for Opus College of Business and School of Engineering, advancement communication materials, brand execution workshops, brand guidelines
