    To revamp UWF’s recruitment strategy (undergraduate and graduate), we needed a bold – yet fun – campaign mark. And a new emphasis on “west” helps differentiate this Florida university from competitors across the state.


    If seeing is believing, then splashing is all about action. UWF needed to show that in its new media campaign featuring television and radio. Here is one of the new recruitment spots.

    New SPLASH television, radio, print and digital advertising, and billboards demanded an equally splash-worthy digital place to direct prospective students to jump in and learn more. Welcome to UWF’s recruitment landing page.

    There’s never been a better place to make a splash. Impressive facts. Astonishing accolades. Over-the-top opportunities. New recruitment materials highlighted all of the above.

    Even though UWF’s four-year graduation rate was double that of the national average, they wanted to make a bigger splash. So we helped the University craft a campaign strategy to retain and graduate more students in four years, including emails, social media, print, and this video, all designed to educate, inspire, and empower students to Splash Forw4rd. Recognized by the Chancellor of the University System, the campaign is making waves across the state. 




    Splashy results: Since UWF's recruitment campaign launched, they've seen increases across the board –  the freshman applicants for the fall rose 26 percent and confirmed students 36 percent; freshman applicants for summer grew by 61 percent and confirmed students by 54 percent;  transfer applicants for fall and summer rose by 26 percent and 18 percent, respectively, and confirmed students for those same periods grew 43 percent and 21 percent; and daily campus tours have increased 34 percent. To top it all off the Splash recruitment campaign was awarded a Communicator Award of Excellence and the TV spots and Student Success Video each earned Telly Awards.
