Wabash College Fundraising


    Situation: Wabash College has a history of forging amazing men. With its 2032 bicentennial as a rallying cry, Wabash needed a compelling way to engage alumni, build partnerships with new allies, and generate big, bold excitement for the most aggressive comprehensive campaign in its history.

    Solution: Connect the power of the past with a powerful vision for the future. We took a 360° view of Wabash – who’s talking to whom, what messages are getting out (and sticking), and what experiences need to happen to energize Wabash’s base. We created influencer and engagement strategies to connect, excite, and activate students, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends of the college.

    The driving idea? Standing on the shoulders of giants is part of the Wabash legacy. So, we introduced Giant Steps, the Campaign for Wabash.

    Results: Giant Steps went public in late 2018. To date, it’s raised $180 million (of its $225 million goal). Wabash set new records for total gifts, unique donors, and dollars raised in a single day.

    What we did: silent and public phase launch consulting and support, case for support ideation and creation, strategies for activating campaign ambassadors, event experience ideation and production, game day events, multi-use video, photography creative direction, social media ideation, campus environmentals, regional fundraising events, campaign print and email support
